Hello and welcome to a blog about Saint John Academy in McLean, Virginia.  Our family has two boys who attend the school.  During our first year at Saint John, we received a ton of great information from the staff, but I still had so many questions about everything.  Therefore, I decided to write up some tips that I think I might have found helpful.  Things we might talk about over a cup of coffee together.  I hope you enjoy the information and if you have anything to add, or if you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know!   This is a work in progress!  I hope you enjoy the content and find this a helpful resource!  Welcome to the school, welcome to the community, and welcome to the blog!

The Diocese of Arlington web site has all the information about Catholic Education in our Diocese. Here you will find school forms, policies, and procedures. The web site is located here:  http://www.arlingtondiocese.org/

Additional health and school forms are located on the Diocese web site.

“The opinions and information in this web site are mine and mine only.  I gathered the content through talking with other parents, friends, and my own experience.  This is not an official publication of Saint John Academy.  More details about all of these exciting topics are in the Official Saint John Academy Handbook and the Saint John Academy Website.  This is not a replacement for the student handbook!  Sorry – I can give you a lot of tips, but you’ve still got to read the handbook!  *Huge thank you to all the other Saint John Moms who helped out with this – you know who you are!”
